That's not to mention that you can no longer officially download Flash. Secondly, the only way you could feasibly use 2.0 online again (assuming Scratch still hosted it, which they don't) you would have to contend with using an old browser that still supports an older version of Flash that doesn't have the killswitch code that the last few versions of Flash had, which means you have to use a very old, unstable, vulnerable browser (like IE6) that has an equally old and vulnerable version of Flash support. First of all, the 2.0 offline editor exists, and it functions identically to the old online 2.0 editor. It's feasible but horrendously impractical.
